Release #26 2019
Before we get to this month’s releases, I just want to say, MAINTAINING YOUR OWN WEBSITE IS HARDWORK! This is my
4th 5th theme change, because I couldn’t find a really functional one. The thing with these free wordpress themes, there’s always something lacking, or they’re really visually unappealing. However, I’m not about use nulled themes (they are a big no no. If you can’t afford premium themes, as sad as it is, stick to a free theme because security matters) and I’m a broke ass bish that can’t afford the prices for the themes I like. 😛 I don’t know why my website looks ugly on mobile version, this is the main reason for the change, so, I hope this works! I have no webmaster skills to speak of, this is purely me experimenting! If it doesn’t work, for best experience, please view the website on your comp /cry
Update 1/09/2019: Finally got a premium theme, and everything is actually working as it should! Premium theme really makes a difference…the capitalism :s Thank you so much to Velo for subbing to a premium Envato account. Because of her I was able to get some proper premium themes. There was so much nice stuff on Envato Elements! I feel like, I was let loose in a lolly store!!
I’m currently going to spend some time fixing and updating the site so that everything will look right as rain!
Kitsune Bijou Bokotsuna Ryoushi
Before we get to the drama, let’s just get the cute stuff out of the way first. Here are two more chapters of this cute and fluffy short chapters of Kitsune Bijou Bokotsuna Ryoushi.
Inochi wo Odoru
There’s two oneshots that we’re releasing here, and this is one of it. It’s a story about two people inspiring each other through their own demons with ballet. The author, Shishima Sakura, penname ‘Ouga‘, was the winner of Niigata Manga Award 2018, and is just a mere 19 years old. Much talents, I’m in love.
Kanojo wa Itsumo Kagayaiteita
Oneshot #2 is another drama, and this one has the #tragedy tag. I don’t want to spoil it here, just want to say that its a beautiful story, but it will be a little sad. And Oh, I really suss that Kousai, the author for this, is actually the artist Loundrou in disguise!
L’Amant (The Lover)
Okay, the last one is an adaptation of a classic semi autobiographical novel by Marguerite Duras (published in 1984) that also had a movie adapted from it (I also really like the movie, it’s some fancy 25 yrs old arthouse film that still look bloody good even now). I wanted to translate Takahama Kan’s work for a long time, having gotten some raws from Das, but everything are just either very long series or were already serialised. I think the heaven must’ve aligned for me with this because I love both Takahama Kan and ‘The Lover’, never in my wildest imagination that I can say Takahama Kan and L’Amant in one sentence!
So, it took me about 3 hours to make this post. A lot of trial and errors. It actually looked kinda aesthetic and I hope it will appear as nice as it looks on the desktop on mobile /pray. Also, I’m looking for a PROOFREADER (a very very good one) and typesetters. For more information please email VELO, she’s the Big Juice handling all the recruitment.
AS USUAL, TO READ THESE CHAPTERS, PLEASE VISIT THE READER. SEE YOU NEXT TIME!
